Betty Boop | 3rd house - rules - siblings 4th house - rules - the mother figure 5th house - rules - love interests 6th house - rules - your employees or pets 7th house - rules - business partners, romantic partners, open enemies 8th house - rules - your children, people you have children with. 9th house - rules - teachers, mentors, in-laws 10th house - rules - employers & the father figure 11th house - rules - friends/aquaintances 12th house - rules - hidden enemies, gurus, God (as you see him/her)I know the 1st house is connected to ones*self*.. and the 2nd house to ones finances.. But don't they represent anyone else? |
Nicole401 | I've heard that Taurus is like the orphan of the zodiac, because Venus isn't its official planet. I know that sounds kind of irrelevant, but maybe that's the reason why the 2nd house doesn't really represent anyone? |
SmilingHeart | Hm, I noticed that Sun in second house people are usually very well liked and that people go out of their way to win them over. So maybe it has something to do with admirers? The public?
|
sand | ^i was reading 11th house readings though and fans seem to go in that house |
sunkissedqt | I've heard that in some cases the first house can represent the father. The second house, I believe, represents monetary issues. For instance many millionaires have their sun in the second house. |
lalalinda | The 5th house rules children and the 2nd house is more about how you value yourself.was that a typo BB?
|
Ceridwen | For astrologers who like to use the derived houses (not sure this is really what they are called), the 1st house might represent the grandparents (depending on if you see the father or mother in the 4th/ 10th house). But however, the 1st house is the 4th (parents/family) from the 10th. Or it could be the siblings (3rd) of your friends (from 11th). And the 2nd house could then be the parents of your friends. Or the hidden enemies of your siblings and so on.Not sure though, if we are not carrying it too far with this system. Lalalinda, I think the underlying principle of the 5th house is "selfexpression" and "creativity/ creating", the spark that gives (you) life. Love affairs and children and even expressing yourself creativity are just different expressions of that principle. And I think that is why both, children and love affairs, are associated with the 5th house. |

Bills) |
Ceridwen | Betty Boob, I`ve heard you (or rather seen a post where you mentioned me some time ago). No, sadly, I haven`t heard from Jane for a long time now. |
VenusDiSirius | ^ Ceridwen,u made my night by that typo I like the notion of H4 being the house of the end. (8th counting from H8)
|
Ceridwen | LOL I didn`t know what you mean, but now I see. B or P, who can remember the difference? |
Nicole401 | Random thought; If the 8th house is about 'intimacy' wouldn't the 2nd house be about the public? |
